Heads Or Tails?: Karl Lagerfeld took part in the minting of a coin celebrating the 125th anniversary of Gabrielle Chanel’s birth. The four coins are part of a limited edition collection. The two gold and two silver coins feature the founder of one of the fashion world’s biggest labels Gabrielle Chanel as the face of the coin. A huge 5 takes space on the tail side, in references to the coin’s value of €5 EUR or $6.30 USD as well as a dual meaning referencing the famous Chanel No. 5 fragrance. At this time, all 99 coins have already been claimed.
